I’m a few days behind on this, but I’d like to congratulate the winners of the Mystery Writers of America, Rocky Mountain chapter’s Six-word Mystery Contest.
The 2021 winners were announced at the chapter’s annual awards dinner and posted on their site. You can read all the details in their 2021 6-Word Mystery Winners! post.
The overall winner “He gaslighted her. She candlesticked him.” by Jean Garrison of Florida, is a great and worthy choice. It tells a (short) story, and does it with some humor.
I’ll post an analysis of the finalist and winning entries in the future, but for now I’ll just say “Congratulations!” once again.
I’ll be back next year to try again!
